"The students were pushed and were provided an opportunity to take safe risks".

We specialize in organizing school trips to Cambodia. Our professional team has the expertise to create a fantastic school trip for you and your students.

Safety and health will always come first during all of our school tours. Our itineraries are flexible and are tailor made to suit your schools requirements.

We recognize the need to meet your brief in terms of educational objectives as well as logistics and timings. As school tour specialists we understand that student tours need to be hands-on and the importance of providing experiences to inspire students both in the classroom and also to become better global citizens.

ABOUT

We are an Australian family-owned school tour company with intrinsic ties to both Vietnam and Cambodia. Vietnam School Tours started off with a focus on Vietnam, with co-founder Tram Macdouall having a Vietnamese heritage she saw the beauty of the country but also the effects of the war.

Not one to sit back, Tram and her husband Brett who was a teacher, form master and assistant principal for over 20 years soon provided experiences for students which took education beyond the classroom. The tours not only supported the curriculum but were also able to help make positive change in the community.

The progression to Cambodia was a natural one and over the years has seen us build classrooms, libraries, eating areas and toilets for many local communities.

Between Tram, her brother – Anh Do (comedian and a bestselling author of the book ‘The Happiest Refugee') and Brett they have the knowledge, personal connections and expertise to create high-quality and memorable tours for your students.

We know precisely the difficulties, requirements, and the risks of taking care of a group of students overseas.

Thousands of life-changing experiences to date

  • Christos F. from NC

"Would definitely return later in my life"

Cambodia was very culture focused and I learned a lot about the Khmer Rouge and the reign of Pol Pot.

The service that we did at Tbeng Primary school was very fun and I felt that it was a great experience as it taught me how to do a range of things to do with construction.

We were treated very well at Camp Tbeng where we were fed great food and experienced a completely new style of sleeping.

  • Bridgette C. from BGHS

"The experiences and memories I have created will always be a part of me and they are something that I will cherish forever."

My time in Cambodia has been an eye opening experience and has taken me on a journey that I will never forget. It has taught me many life lessons that I can use and remember forever such as not to take what I have for granted and to live as full and meaningful life as there is no way to foresee the future.

  • Chloe G. from CSHS

    "Everyday has been something new"

My time in Cambodia and Vietnam has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The fact that our tour group fundraised all the money ourselves to travel to these beautiful places made it just that little bit more special. Throughout the trip I not only saw but also experienced many cultural differences, food and languages

    Chloe G. from CSHS

"We had the most meaningful experience that has opened our eyes to other people's lives and culture. Thank you for all of your work."
